A scan, a PDF export or a photograph of an existing engineering drawing. Nothing needs modelling or tracing by hand first.
Each stage returns an image: the cleaned drawing, the structure it found, the shapes it fitted and the dimensions it read.
Stop at the DXF if 2D was the job, or carry on and have the closed profile reconstructed as a solid and written to STL.
Move the model into the AM module for full print analysis, already carrying everything known about where it came from.
A tool that hands back a model and no reasoning is one you have to take on trust. Creative writes out an image at every stage, so when something comes out wrong you can see exactly which step went wrong rather than guessing.
For an engineer signing off on a part, that difference matters more than any amount of accuracy claimed in a brochure.
